The Life Path Number
The Life Path is the sum of the birth date. This number represents who you are at birth and the native traits that you will carry with you through life. The most important number that will be discussed here is your Life Path number. The Life Path describes the nature of this journey through life.
The Life Path number is established from the date of birth. First, add the Month, day, and year together to arrive at a total. Next, reduce this four digit number to a single digit.
Example: If a person was born on October 23, 1972 (10-23-1972*), add the month 10 to the day 23 plus the the year 1972 arriving at a total of 2005. Then add the digits in 2005 arriving at the Life Path number 7.
The "master numbers, " 11, 22, and 33, have been incorporated within the corresponding single digit number readings. See addition comments about master numbers.
If you choose to consider the master numbers, you can stop reducing the compound numbers when you arrive at the master numbers, 11 or 22. Example: Bill Gates, born 10-28-1955, has a birth date that adds up to 1993. 1993 reduces to 22, so he would be a good example of the 22/4.

MINE:
If your Life-Path number is SEVEN, depth of thinking and the ability to gain knowledge from most everything will be something you’ve experienced since an early age. SEVEN is considered the ‘spiritual’ number and such qualities as intuition will be prominent [Yup, I think I'm quite intuitive!].
Those with a SEVEN Life-Path are usually peaceful and affectionate [I stay away from trouble and nuisance as far as possible].
You may not have many friends as a SEVEN, but the ones you do have will be for life [I have a few close friends only...].
You’re a compassionate and caring friend [True for both, but sometimes I don't know how to show my care and concern].
As a SEVEN, you will likely be able to sense deception from others quickly and you’re not likely to be wrong [this is pretty much depending on the situation though].
A balance between time with others and private time taken to be alone with your thoughts and dreams is essential [yeah, very important!].
It is common for SEVENS to be seen as aloof due to their selective socializing and required time alone [Yup, quite true, people don't see me as being approachable I guess].
If the truth be told, many SEVENS feel a sense of insecurity [very often!].
This may be because much of a SEVENS ‘reality’ is not tangible [Try being a Piscean and being a Seven].
You will rely heavily on instincts and intuition [what can I say about this? I don't have much of a logical mind].
At times this insecurity can lead to pessimism or loneliness. Mood swings are also not uncommon. [Damn! Try being a Piscean, a Seven, AND a woman!]
SEVEN personalities are generally reserved and analytical in their assessments of truth [Yes for generally reserved, and I have this knack for investigatory work, especially so, online].
As a SEVEN, you will need to find and draw your own conclusions with evidence before accepting other’s notions [True, I tend to think a lot within myself how this is possible, before accepting other people's views].
Key qualities/words for a SEVEN Life-Path are analysis, understanding, knowledge, awareness, studious and meditating [I'm a Data Analyst. Haha. Studious, so unlikely though].
The life purpose for a SEVEN is to experience life to the fullest through learning and processing knowledge [this is so boring].
Perhaps even more so, a SEVEN needs to learn how to trust in themselves and their deeper feelings about life around them [This sentence ties with the insecurity part, I guess].
The development of a sense of security can be a life long challenge with periods of time that are marked with a lack of emotional stability [Ahh see, what did I just say?].
The SEVEN that chooses to not get out into the world and to grasp all there is to learn, can become negative and selfish [I am sometimes ego-centric].
An attitude that says the world owes them can also happen [if I think life's unfair, does this count?].
To experience life at it’s utmost, a SEVEN must face their fears and insecurities and face whatever comes their way [I see].
There is much a SEVEN can give to the world around [Really?!].

Footnote: Why do people hide their feelings so much? Is it really so hard to have a heart-to-heart communication? I should prolly stop wasting time on someone who doesn't even bother to waste time on me. So what if he still feels for me?
So what if he still cares?
Que sera, sera. :)
